Scholarships

The purpose of the W. Clement & Jessie V. Stone Foundation’s scholarship grant-making is to align the scholarships with the Foundation’s priority areas for grant-making: education, youth development and early childhood development. For example, these scholarship grants might address problems in the field, such as providing scholarships to increase the number of people working in early childhood development, or to increase the number of well-qualified teachers working in low-income inner-city schools, or to build leadership development in the field.

The scholarships may be made to accredited colleges and universities, which will identify recipients based on need and who have demonstrated exceptional academic promise. In alignment with the youth development priority area, scholarships are awarded to organizations through Stone Leaders for Change.

The Foundation does not accept unsolicited proposals.
