Youth Development
The goal of the Foundation’s Youth Development portfolio is to elevate the engagement of youth and the voice of youth – who are often unheard or ignored — in changing the systems that affect them and the communities where they live. To achieve that goal, the Foundation supports work in areas such as youth media, youth organizing, youth leadership, and youth-led advocacy. The Youth Development grantmaking prioritizes programs that engage low-income and under-served young people ages 10 to 24.
The Foundation is also committed to building the capacity of the organizations that do this work. To that end, it invests in development of the tools, data, capacity, and systems that build the capacity of the field and provide valuable lessons for this work.
The Foundation does not accept unsolicited proposals.
